Hi all, I connected the a360xe to one of my ap9x's with a USB c cable, but I'm not able to adjust the a360xe through the app or even see it. What am I doing wrong? Can someone point me to a video or something?

Thanks

You can't see it, but the a360xe is on the left and is connected to the ap9x in the middle.

You have to add the fixture to the group in the app.
That app gets on my nerves. I ended up figuring it out and then later I was messing with it and I mistakenly switched groups and my lights were all messed up. "Why are these on?!" I finally figured that out too. The app for the ap700 wasn't any better either. You'd think for the money, they'd have an idiot proof app.

I absolutely hate my maxspect gyre xf350 controller. I wonder if the hydros, titan, etc systems are any better.
I have the wave engine and used it with two 330’s and two mp40’s, which made syncing all of them easy. I was able to create some pretty good schedules, but the gyres are poor at creating standing waves or short pulses. I found that they stalled a lot with very short pulses, but they were good at 90% of the other wave patterns. I ultimately sold them all, except the wave engine (which will be used on a farm tank with octo pulse pumps) and now run all Tunze pumps. I’ve had 6040’s ever since they’ve been released, but now I have 6075’s on my 90g and they are awesome! The hub was easy to set up and program and I can dial in a wave with a slider in real time. I’ve always been a Tunze fan, but now they’re the only pumps I use in all of my tanks. I think gyres work in certain tanks, but maintenance prevents me from using them again. The one thing I did that helped was to buy extra cages and impellers, so all you have to do is swap them out and clean the dirty ones in citric acid. But doing this every two weeks or so is a PITA.

I forget what version of maxspect gyre I had 5 years ago, but they went through impellers and bushings enough for me to switch them out for xf350's. I just ordered a set of bushings for one of the ones I have now. First time in the 4 years I've owned them. So they're definitely better than the ones I had years ago. I have a tank with the overflow on one of the ends and the gyres are on either side of the overflow. They work good, but I still think about swapping them out for powerheads.

but how you add it if you dont see any note from any a360x ??
trying to connect 2 a360x to an ap9x but the app doesnt show anything to be added anywhere??
do I need to reconnect the ap9x completely new again?
had him first in the app and now trying to connect 2 a360x??

Are the 360x’s connected to the AP9x via usb c cables? They have to be physically connected in order to appear in the app.
