I've had this hood for about 6 months now, i got it used without any ID about what model it was, and since it was on my first saltwater tank ever, i didn't know that it is supposed to have cooling fans.. I'm actually really anxious about it right now. its a 4 bulb t5ho hood that says hamilton technology all over it. Can any of you ID what it is and tell me what i could use to cool it? i'm in a bit of a rush since i just ordered new bulbs and i don't want to ruin those bulbs with overheating. Thanks!

I am not familiar with that particular light, but it looks like it may be "passively cooled." Not all T5 fixtures have fans. I have a 4 bulb T5 TEK Light that does not have fans.

Well I would agree it's passively cooled, but I'm worried it's ruining the bulbs, since the actinics turn almost white towards the end of the day, plus it says to use fans with it, I feel like it's missing something
