Hello, I am looking into making a biotype designed around Lavender blushed firefish. Where can I find information regarding species found in the same locations as these firefish?

Thanks

As far as I have found there are no specific biotope/biotype resources readily available.

Best bet may be looking up your specific species, finding their range, then looking up reefs inside their range/other fish native to that range.

Per Wiki:

"Nemateleotris decora, the elegant firefish or purple firefish, is a species of dartfish native to tropical waters in the Indo-West Pacific, from Mauritius to Samoa, north to Ryukyu Islands, and south to New Caledonia, from depths ranging between 25 and 70 m (82 and 230 ft)."

List I found of marine fish in New Caledonia:

  • My fish seem to never respond to the lighting in my tank.

  • I don’t pay enough attention to my fish to notice if they respond to the lighting.
