My rainbow bubble tip split again, and the local market is kind of saturated. I've never shipped a live animal before, and I don't have an account with any shipping companies. If I decide to try shipping one (assuming there's a buyer), how do I pack it up? Does it need something to hold onto in the bag? Can I use a hand warmer as a heat pack? And how much does overnighting/2 day shipping generally cost? Thanks!

Call fed-ex or ups stores for current quotes on overnight. It will need to be 2x bagged with a more ridged (thicker) bag inside the outer bag. Foam container inside a box. Packed so it does not move. Heat pads for this time of year. Prob not worth the cost but ya never know.
