I’ve heard of hermits tolerating brackish for a bit, so I wouldn’t be too afraid there.
I have no experience with hyposalinity, so I couldn’t tell you how effective it really is.
Copper does kill ich. I believe that live rock absorbs it though, causing problems later on.

Honestly it looks like a 50/50 whether it works. Humble fish does say to remove all fish and inverts, so go with that. Of course this method is still best in a qt.
What’s the full stocking? A 10 gallon qt may be all you need, and can really save you in the future.

all i have is 2 clowns and 2 hermits
they're in a 10 gallon tank because ive heard that a pair can go in a 10 gal as long as they are the only fish in the tank.

With only 2 clowns, a 10 gallon qt wouldn’t be too hard. You might even get away with a 5 if they are super small (and not already aggressive).

I dont have any quarantine tanks lol, so could I do hypo in the main tank? Its the 10 gallon I was talking about btw.
(that is, of course, after I put the hermits in a separate container)

You can try hypo, but I can’t guarantee it will work.
Qting the fish is one just about the only way to 100% kill of the ich in the dt.

The eggs will sit on inverts, rocks, sand, and corals, but does not feed off of them, so essentially they cannot. Ich can only feed off of fish, and will starve in their absence.

My Flamehawk got ICH and eye damage. I seem to have kicked ICH but he lost an eye :(
$140 fish ICH in first few days which I put down to being stressed by a very dominating Chromis and probably injured his eye trying to evade the Chromis.
He's now been spot free over a week but his eye looks to be gone.
My recommendation is DONT make Chromis your first fish.

I had a Royal Gramma that had popeye. Unfortunately he was in my reef tank and i couldn't really catch him or do much. I made sure to keep the water very clean and that he was eating good and he eventually recovered and seems to not have any permanent damage. At least not that i can tell. I dont think my case is typical however.
