I do not think they can be dipped in iodine. Thanks all

What kind of parasites are you dealing with? If it’s ich or something, you put them in a fishless tank for the full duration of a fallow period.
Question is not for an existing Feather Duster, but before adding one into the tank.

None at this time. I am referring to before adding a Duster into the tank. thanks

What parasites are you trying to prevent?
Hobbyist dip corals. Can feather dusters be dipped? If not how do you remove parasites from feather dusters before placing it into the tank?

If you are talking about coral parasites, I don’t think feather dusters will have a high likelihood of harboring them. The parasites that infect coral would probably be on the corals. IMO

For fish parasites, you need to isolate the feather duster in a fishless system for 6 weeks at 81F.

Fwiw - i simply floated to acclimate and dug a lil hole then VERY GENTLY - dont squish their tubes - buried their tubes (make sure you have em right way up) and they all did well (i had 4). Then my pitho crab decided they looked fun. So to a friend’s tank they went.
