I want to take a couple of these rhodactis off. They are all stuck together on the same rubble/plug complex.

Do you scrape them off with a razor?

Once you have them off, I understand you usually put them in a basket with some rubble or something so that they grab hold. Correct? Will they do that after recently being scraped off, or do they need days/weeks to do it?

Thanks!

Uff, that is going to be super hard to do in-tank. I can take them out and put them in a bucket maybe with a powerhead on them. How long does this usually take in your experience?

24-48 hrs if irritated by flow. If you have a really good/experienced LFS, they can cut at the base with a sharp razor blade as shrooms heal quickly (may be tips on you tube for cutting, similar to cutting leathers)

I have never been able to manually remove them from rockwork before without bad results to them or the rockwork. As some have stated the best way is to point a power head at them and they will tend to release themselves. Next problem finding where they end up in the tank before they reattach themselves.
