I have red grape and dragon's breath macro in my mixed reef tank that I'm trying to glue to rocks. Both are growing very well, but the dragons breath keeps breaking off into chunks and floating around the tank. My red grape doesn't seem to have this issue.

How do people keep their algae in one place? Any tips for me with the dragon's breath are appreciated!

Split weights just get crimped on. Finger strength… usually teeth for me is enough. If you want something plant specific your local fish store should sell manganese or lead strips that you just wrap around like twist ties. They are common in freshwater. For split weights any sporting store that sells fishing tackle will have them for pennys each in various sizes.

Looking back to your reefing roots: Did you start with Instant Ocean salt?
