How do you keep your frag tools rust free?

How do you keep your cutting tools rust free? I take the time to rinse mine off with freshwater and thoroughly dry them.However I still see rust development.Is there something reef safe that I can treat the spots with?

What works for me is to rinse in water then dry with towel. I'll then leave them out for a bit to air dry before I put them away. I have not seen any rust doing this way.

I buy stainless tools when possible but I toss rusty tools and buy new. Storing in rice is a great idea to absorb the h20

Wash them well in RODI then dry with a towel as well. Sometimes I even spray them with isopropanol after the rinse in RODI ...gets rid of the water and sterilizes all in one step :-)

I usally use my gun oil I use on my handguns and rifles. Dry tool, oil good, and wipe clean so it's not runny.

I wash them on ro/di and dry them bynusing a blower then take a quick dip with isoprophyl alcohol and dried again with a blower. When stains or rust occur, I use this solution that we use on our surgical instruments called surgistain. It might be valled something else but it is milky white.
