Getting everything squared away before my initial fill of this 8’ 240. My question, is this close enough? I don’t want to start shimming and creat pressure points across the stand. Would rather have the load distributed across the entire length of the stand. Let me know what the thoughts are. Two pictures are front to back and side to side. The level reads the same across the entire span of the tank. The tank is eurobraced with half inch glass cross braces. Thanks!!

Shim the bottom of the stand, not the tank. With a tank that size, you want perfection.
Right, the stand would be shimmed. I just didn’t want to run the risk of creating pressure points from the stand to the floor being that the tank is so large and the weight is immense.
Probably overthinking the load capacity of the stand and how it’s built.

Shim, and fill in the gaps with more shims. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of TOTAL DISASTER!!! :winking-face-with-tongue:

Bubble needs to be dead center between the lines. Shim bottom of the stand. Laser level would be good investment on a tank that size.
