How long before using can I mix kalkwasser into RODI water?

I store all my RODI water for my ATO in one gallon jugs. These jugs are also the ATO reservoir. Whenever one jug is empty, I simply replace it with a full one. I also run kalkwasser in my ATO. Can I mix kalkwasser into my ATO water right after I fill them all with RODI? Or do I need to mix it in just before using it? Is there a "shelf life" on kalkwasser after it has been mixed in water? Does it lose potency after sitting around too long?

I believe you have to let it settle for a little. I think an hour is good. Put the kalk in and shake the jug good for a few seconds. i Just started dripping kalk myself from a 5 gallon jug and I let it settle for an hour or so before using

Don’t stir it either. Stirring will speed up the reaction with CO2 in the air, degrading it
