I bought some copepods from a reputable online and ebay vendor. They were shipped on Tuesday and the mailman decided not to leave them on my doorstep yesterday so I had to pick them up at the post office this morning.
Didn't see any movement in the containers at all.
I know I'm old and my eyes aren't what they use to be, but I figured I'd see something moving.
What do you think, is 4 days too long?

I did float them for about a 1/2 hour, then I poured the containers in a large white bowl when slowly adding tank water.
The white bowl makes it real easy to see even the smallest critters. Using a magnifying glass and flashlight I still didn't see any movement.
I guess 3-4 days is too much.

Hi, they usually will last 3-4 days, however without refrigeration or food, that is the max. I will ship your replacements tommorrow, and add a little extra to make sure they get your way.

I didn't want to bring up names as this was a mailman screwup problem.

I figured this was a problem on my end, not yours.

The fault was the post offices, and not yours, so it is my responsibility to see that the pods make it your way alive.
