How long do you acclimate your new SPS frags to your lighting before you mount them on your rockwork? What is best practice?

I place mine on the sand bed for roughly 2 weeks. Then I slowly move up, I like to keep my sps frags around 300 par with my t5’s until they get larger. I recently purchased a par meter and that has been nice.

I use a DIY frag rack to start mine near the bottom and slowly move them up. If it's something that I know just where to put, I'll go ahead and place it where I want it. I will then use several layers of window screen material on top of my DIY screen top to create a shady spot and then remove a piece every week or so. Both methods have worked well for me.

HTH!
