Until I’m physically unable to do the maintenance. I may downsize in 15-20 years, but reefing is a permanent part of who I am, not just something to do for a while.

I am hooked for Life. Can't stop now. I'm in too deep. I sit for hours just watching my tiny 29 gal reef. By the way, witnessed a murder today in my tank. The pom pom took down my camelback shrimp. I didn't know they were killers. I'm gonna stick with this hobby despite the loss.

Had one for most of 50 years and plan on it for as long as possible.

Mine is mostly automated at this point. But I usually tear them down when I move. Building a house currently but I plan to move this tank into a slightly larger tank and then keep it until I’m too old or sick to manage it.

Besides a QT I’ll never have more than 1 tank.

I think I started this hobby a little late but I plan to stay in it until I can't anymore, and then if I have a little money I'll pay someone to do the maintenance.

Hopefully for most the rest of my life.. It’s easy enough to keep a small tank and the costs can be low. Only reason I won’t have one is cuz I don’t want one anymore.
