I added my first BTA (Acid Rain) to my anemone only tank over the weekend. I added a pair of RFAs at the same time and they originally all seemed to run from the light a bit, so I put the light on a 20% reduction for a 4 week acclimation (increases in small increments automatically over 4 weeks to full power). The "full power" light schedule is set to 150 PAR at the center of the tank, so a 20% reduction would have it at about 120 PAR in the center currently.

I also plan to eventually add an RBTA and I'm wondering if I should do it now, while I'm already doing the light acclimation, or if I should wait a few weeks to let everything settle. All the anemones are out. They all moved some the first evening, but they've been stationary and open for the last 2 days.

How long should I wait? Should I even bother with the acclimation period, or should I just set the lights back to normal and let the anemones deal with it in their own way?

If tank has matured, test results are good and bta doing good- a week
