How long to wait between adding salt and testing salinity?

I ended up with salinity a little low in my DT and I'm slowly adding salt to get it where it's supposed to be. How long should I wait between adding more salt and testing?

BTW, no animals in the tank yet so no worries there.

Never add salt directly into the display tank though, correct with water changes

just so you dont create precipitation or hypersalinity zones near rocks, obv no livestock at stake

Rock is in the tank!!! Thank you everyone for the help!! I appreciate you all. Time to start buying corals again and upgrade my lights!!
