I currently have a Purple Tegu and my wife's Bearded Dragon. Have kept multiple species of monitors and snakes in the past :) What species of frogs do you have?

Green tree frogs, had a spare terrarium and couldnt think of what to put in it, made a drainage section a small pool with a pump that acts as a water fall.

Marineland Portrait 5.5 gallon, $40 shipped on Amazon year before last- love this tank. It's easily my favorite. Looks different now however.





It had crushed garnet as substrate at first (yes, very purple) but now runs eco-complete.

I know I'm odd... I jumped straight into saltwater. Never kept a FW tank at all.

Me either, other than turtles. Every once in a while I think maybe I'll set one up. Usually right after that I get another reef.

a highly overgrown (cutting this weekend i'm 45% sure of it ;) ) natural planted tank aka the "walsted method".

By FAR the easiest tank i have ever done. Anything that is a root grower grows like a weed. Currently around 20-25 fish in the tank. it is a 55g. Going to add more :D I have a UV i run whenever i add new fish. Sometimes 1-3 fish will get some ick like spots (usually whenever new fish are added) but i just let the UV run and they go away on their own. All fish happy and healthy.

So far my pride and joys of the tank are 2x turquoise rainbowfish and 3x angelfish

this is just a somewhat crappy FTS tho

I don’t have an updated picture.
I run a very overstocked 55 gallon low tech planted. I’m slowly converting it into an amazon biotope but I still have about 20 mollies that my mom had me put in there that I can’t get rid of lol. Stock as of now is
3 Adult Angelfish (2 pealscale gold 1 silver)
4 juvenile marbled x silver I got from breeding my silver.
8 black neon tetras
6? Long fin bristlenose plecos. I say that because I’ve seen a couple juvis around the tank from my pair.
And a butload of mollies.
Right now it’s gotten to the point where I literally do no matinence besides feeding. Honestly it’s pretty boring.

WOW! Another audio addict! You like Karlson boxes? I never tried them. Been building speakers for as long as I have been keeping reefs. almost 30 years.

That is definitely my favorite part about a planted tank. Once a month dump the filter clean the sponge. Every 2 months or so buy co2. Feed, trim as needed.

I do occasionally have to siphon out the detritus as this tank being 9-10 years old have lost most of my bottom dwelling fish to old age. And clown plecos make a mess with driftwood. Did order a colony of rcs my first addition in over 3 years. Had planned a school of dwarf rainbow fish but never added them.

We have a 29 gallon goldfish tank. Andrew saved some feeder fish at Walmart. We also have Bond and Goldfinger (Bettas) in separate tanks.

My goldfish in my pond right now are all feeder fish from petsmart [emoji23]

A few years ago lost all my fish to a Heron.

They are now almost a foot in length.

Had a scare over the summer where they all contracted black ich from another wayward waterfowl.

I have never actually kept betas, they are beautiful though. Had debated when setting up my planted to go with a male paradise fish. But went with a dwarf cichlid pair instead, made stocking easier.

I was changing out my 20lb CO2 almost twice a month in my high tech....one of the reasons I got out of planted tanks lol.
