How many fish could I add at one time?

My tanks been up and running for a few months now and is currently stocked with a pair of clowns and a few corals. I’m looking to pick up some fish this weekend but I’m wondering how many is too many at one time? I’d like to add some Chromis and a wrasse. The tank is a 40b

If they are not going to be QT'd just get one at a time. That way you are gambling less each time you add a fish that may result in a tank wipe.

It’s a 40g breeder so 36x18x16

You’ll be able to have some wrasses however it’ll be best if you make a list of the ones you enjoy then we can sort through them and figure out which ones would be best for you.
