On my 90 gallon currently have 2 Hydra32 mounted 14 inches above and 15 inches from each side. I took some par readings and the highest spot available to place corals was about 160. I currently have a small birdnest in that spot but I’m concerned that 160 is not enough par. That’s with royal and blue set at 95%. Violet and uv at 70%. Do you think adding a prime16 to the middle would do much or just get another 32? But also need to consider the mounting height of the prime16. I’m looking at a mixed reef tank. Mostly lps but a couple sps in the higher areas.
I took measurements with my glass tops on and off. Funny thing the par was higher with the tops on, by about 5-10%. I keep my glass tops very clean.

I’d think if you got one more and bunched the three a little closer to the center you could use that as your high par zone and the outskirts as your med par area. And if that’s still not enough could just get one more like BRS recommendation
