Also my overheating issue might have just been because the t5s are so close to the leds. I think it restricts air movement a lot in the canopy.

I mounted a couple of these blowing into the canopy. My power strip has usb ports so I just plug them in that way. Also I mounted my lights a little different than most people. I have the t5s running down the middle. The 4 kessils in a square so the cross brace doesnt block as much light. It also add more depth to the tank that way imo.

@MyTankSux I'd love to see a picture of your lighting setup! And the whole canopy for that matter! @nept2n if you are open to it, I think a floating canopy looks great and is even more open for air flow. Just something else to consider!

But then I'd have to give away my secrets.... I can't take any new shots right now. I've done something in my canopy in the past few weeks which I'm thinking about marketing in the industry.
