How many Orphek Atlantic V4 for my tank size?

250 gallon tank. It’s 94”x23”x27

How many of these fixtures with heavy SPS corals? I was thinking 3 fixtures placed horizontally but won’t these LED’s be too thin of width for my tank?

Or get the compacts and turn them 90* and run 5-6 of them.

I ended up not going with them. I read a lot of people had bad reviews with bulbs bursting and horrible customer service.

Stay tuned, because I finally (yes, finally!) made up my mind on my lighting for my SPS dominant tank.

I've had outstanding customer service from Orphek. The new 2020 diode board has addressed the overheating concerns from past models so this should not be an issue anymore either. You can also DIY any and all upgrades on these fixtures which isn't something many other manufacturers can claim. Regardless, it's good that you have chosen a solution.
