Anyway, the standard is 2 prazi treatments.

However, I’ve heard from a few people that 2 treatments didn’t work, and they needed a 3rd to eradicate fish flukes.

I already did 2 treatments in my QT, and I’m deciding if I should consider them good, or if I should do a 3rd dose after 8 days. What do ya’ll think?

It's pretty common to need the third. However - if no symptoms, etc - not sure why you would do it (i.e. you don't have any reason to think yours did not work

Especially with neobendendia, you may need a 3rd , even a fourth treatment as with some flukes, the prazi while effective does not kill the eggs and in turn requires additional applications.

There is another calculator written by Barrett Christie. I wonder if this one is based on his work?

This is set up for capsalid flukes, I think those need three treatments in order to catch all hatching eggs. Barrett days 5 is sometimes needed.

To be honest, I’ve gone to hyposalinity to treat capsalids, it is just more reliable.
