How many serpent/brittle stars in a tank?

I have two serpent stars in my Reefer 250 (55 gallons in display). Both are good sized. Once hides most of the time.

I also have a good sized serpent star in my nano tank (came with The Package). I recently found a mantis shrimp in the nano and want to move the serpent star out.

Is three too many for my "big" tank?

If it is - any suggestions on how to catch my shy brittle star from the "big" tank so I can keep the two with personality?

The thing to consider is whether or not the third star will still get enough to eat in that tank. If you can reasonably say it would, I don't see any reason not to add it.
