How many tangs

Hi Gang,

I am at that stage where i need to beef up my algae grazing team. I have a Foxface and he is doing well. Thinking about adding one or more tangs. The tank is 160 gallons, 6 footer. I have only ever had one tang in previous tanks. I am leaning towards just one but will this be enough for this size tank (meaning one tang and a Foxface)? Or is it smart to get three tangs (to diffuse aggression) to create a long term algae management team?

I think you would be fine with 3, I’ve seen bigger ones in smaller tanks that were huge. As long as you keep good water quality and stability they should thrive, oh and also feed them well.
