How much Phyto is too much?

What's your recommendation for how long to turn it off? My skimmer is very over reactive. Is anybody else running an Octo Regal? I can turn down the skimmer in general, but then not sure how much it'd be skimming the rest of the time.
I dose during my feed cycle. This shuts down the return pumps and my skimmer for 45 minutes. Then restarts the returns and the skimmer starts 5 minutes after the pumps. During the feed mode my powerheads and gyros go to the lowest setting. This allows the Phyto to disperse among the DT. Much the same way a coral food like aquavitro fuel does. (I always loved that one as it is so bright yellow, and you can see it flowing in concentration, but quickly it just disappears. I haven’t had skimmers go bezerk with Phyto dosing. I run the RedSea skimmers. I have had them go bezerk from other additives, but not Phyto.

Cant give you advice on how long for your tank and equipment. I usually shut mine off for an hour at least. Mine doesnt overflow and go crazy after that.....depends on your coral load and type i suppose.....meaning trial and error my friend

I've started culturing Phyto (just the greens for now; trying my first Rhodomona lens now. Well, second Rhodomona lens, I friend the first attempt with too much light!) Anyway, with gallons of Phyto being made (even if it is just one strain), I've got too much Phyto! How much is too much to dose? I think I've seen @Reef By Steele say they dose up to 2x ml of their gallon volume?? I've tried just one ml of gallon volume for now, but my skimmer (October Regal 200 INT) goes absolutely bonkers for HOURS afterwards. And because I have it draining into a 1 gallon container next to the sump, it FLOODS. Now happened 3 times. Last time I left the skimmer off for 6 hours and it still flooded (I left for work.) So, is it just too much Phyto or does the skimmer just need to be dialed waaaaay down? But then it doesn't do much the other 18 hrs. (This Octo Regal skimmer is a pain in the butt!)
Do you have a photo of tank your dosing....what makes you think you need to dose phyto in the first place and what data do you have too prove it even works? Its just a question....but, alot people are selling stuff that you dont even need to be sucessful or have a beautiful reef tank. IMO
