I have a McCosker’s wrasse in QT. Salinity is currently 1.022 and ph 8.3. I’ll bring the salinity up over the next couple of weeks via wc to match my DT (1.026). My DT Ph is usually around 8.2. How close is “close enough” to just dump the new guy in? Temp in the two tanks should be within 1 degree F.

The pH is basically the same. Temp within 1 degree F is perfectly fine too. Just net it in, once the salinity matches .

I don't bother with acclimation after QT - I've already ensured the salinity of the QT matches the DT and the temp is within a couple degrees.
