My Coral Care lights were purchased in 2021, no issues. I have 2 Reef Breeders V2’s that I used for a month and have been sitting in backup for all of that time, I guess I will sell them at some point. Looking back on my purchases, I spend way too much money :)!

I don't want to start any debates on useful age of led lighting.
Just curious on your brand and age of your lighting that is still in continuous use.

I own a reef breeders v2 48" and found my receipt that says 04/15/2016. 8 years, continuous use. I made it a pro a few years back.
Bought my reef breeders photons March 2020. No issues yet with those. Have had issues with one kessil unit right outside of warranty but two others that have been fine. For a year or so

I’ve got photon v2s I got in 2014 right when they came out that are still in full time use. At least 2 think and an even older v1 over my QT but it does not run all the time.

My NanoBox fixture is from 2015 or so. But I did just update the arrays on it with new ones Theatrus and I made. Everything else is original.

Sounds like people with RB's have had longevity with them and a good light to boot.

The reefbreeder lights are par cannons at max power. Most of us are running them at less than 50% output which makes them run cooler and last longer

I read threads all the time with people running primes with channels 100% or greater, and xr15’s at 80% or greater, and maybe they can handle that for a while, but if you took the same fixtures and ran them at 30 or 40% their lifespan would dramatically increase.

My photon 48 v2 can do 1000 par at the surface. I have a v1 photon 48 and a v1 photon 32 that can do 1100-1200 par at the surface. It’s completely unnecessary. But it allows the fixture to run at a fraction of its capability which increase its lifespan

Maxspect r6 8 year old , both blue strips went out, fixed the problem (300e) but not convinced about par because I have bleached corals so going to get a par meter next week

My AI refugium leg light has only lasted about 3-4 years ( can't remember exactly when I bought it). It goes off and on at night on it's own. Schedule is correct.

Bought a bunch of Radion G4 right when they first came out, so closing in on 8 years. Still working just fine. My experience with the Kessil 360 is less satisfactory. I have none that lasted more than 5 years, with many failing in the 2-4 year range. Kessil 160 is much more enduring.

I have a Current from 2015, the setting display is a little funky, all the LED COBS Light, The Transformer gave up long ago. It’s on my Quarantine Tank, so no Corals. I have some 36” 21LED Reef Strips, that are from 2018, that still work and grow Corals. They are in a PVC Rain Gutter, from when I was getting back in the hobby.

I ran a ReefBreeders Photon 48" (pre V2) for 8 1/2 years and just replaced it with a V2 Pro at the end of last year. The original Photon was still functioning just fine, but I felt it was time for an upgrade, as it's now a backup. I've been very pleased with the quality of ReefBreeders products!

Been running a Red Sea ReefLED50 for 2 years now. Going to switch to a Current USA R24 soon just to get experience with new equipment

I only have experience with reef breeders led's. I am on my second set ( 4 lights over 8 ft tank) in 12 years. I would still be using the original but I lost all the lights after a lightning strike took out the transformer in my yard and fried the lights. I have had the current set for around 5 years, I think.
