How Times Have Changed

Very entertaining read, as usual. I have looked through those Sharper Image catalogs numerous times and saw things that I thought might be neat to have, but by the time I got to the end of it, it was like, "I don't need any of this junk."

I remember when cell phones were called communicators and you could only see them on Star Trek - the first one on TV. I was talking to a friend the other day about how we laugh at people that have flip phones now. They spent all that time to make phones as small as possible and now they are getting bigger and bigger. I think I still have my old bag phone around here somewhere. Maybe that will be back in style someday. :-)

I bought My 63 old Bro a micro drone for a Christmas toy. I think he will have fun with it for a short while at least. I also have a flip communicator, it costs me 18 bucks a month & does exactly what I need it for. . My 50's something friends stare at their phones ! We are fishing & they put out the lines & start staring at these infernal I phones. I just don't get it. I'm afraid they are becoming assimilated .
