having an issue with calcium. Noticed last week that my calcium was over 575. In an attempt to lower I turn off dosing. It now averages about 510 but won’t seem to go lower. I assume my corals are in stress and uptake of calcium has stopped. My Alk is about 10 and mag is 1200. I am planning another water change on Wednesday. Any other way to slowly lower calcium. Thanks

Just let it ride and continue doing what you’re doing. It’ll come down on its own and through water changes. Calcium at that level isn’t going to hurt anything.

I’ve had a doser get stuck on and my calcium was over 900 in my lps tank and I didn’t notice ill effects honestly.

Assuming your salinity is 1.026 when you do the CA (or any test) then, bring up MG first to 1350-1400ppm, then remeasure again.

I get weird unexpected test results when MG falls below 1260, for both Alk and CA.

Just want to make sure chemistry is in line first, and the high CA is not just a bad test result.
