I have a 250 gallon tank with black acrylic sheets that go in the inside of the tank as a background.

I removed the sheets of acrylic as they are due for cleaning. There is coralline algae and diatoms etc.

I can use any chemical. I do not want to damage the sheets or scratch them. Minimal scraping to protect surface.

Will bleach stain the black acrylic?

I don’t have a tub large enough to soak the sheets. I will probably need to use a chemical in a bottle.

What’s the easiest way to clean black acrylic sheets?

I use a mighty magnet with their bag on my acrylic tank. It will remove coraline algae. Im not sure how it will work out of water. It might cause scratches. Be careful with flakes of coraline. They will damage the acrylic.
Since you prob have a calcium based coraline you could try something that dissolves calcium. I would test on a small section.
