I don't consider I abuse usage on my MP10. I set random Crest mode at 50% speed for 8 hours; Lagoon @50% speed for 4 hours and Constant @10% for 12 hours. I only clean my MP10 with critic acid every 6 months. So far, I had replaced one MP10 after 2 years. And my current one shows an 1/8" long crack already.
Any idea how to prevent and stop the "ceramic wrap" from cracking and how to fix or replace the ceramic wrap instead of buying a brand new one? Without that ceramic wrap, MP10 rattles and gets loud disturbing noise.
The MP10 propeller shaft is made of stainless steel that is wrapped with a thin sheet of ceramic that cracks and peels off so easily. Why don't they make the entire shaft with ceramic? (I know many powerheads use a whole ceramic shaft instead of stainless steel, nowadays. )
