Hey everyone, I have a tyree leather with really killer green polyps. The only problem is it has gotten to big for my tank. It stanbds approx 10 inches tall and i unfurls into about an 8-9 inch diameter. What is the best way to frag this? I was told by somone to take a pair of scissors and cut a 1-2 inch ring off all the way around the leather. Then cut it into 2 inch squares. Take a rubber band and attach it to a disk or rock and it will yield 2 frags. Is the correct? Also do i need to do this in a sepearate tank? I have alot of sps in my tank with this tyree.

Thanks alot guys. So I'm guessing its ok to cut the leather in the tank as it wont release an abundance of toxins?
