how to frag coral

so funny store my first coral i’ve purchased was a trumpet coral and shortly after i’ve had it i realized i had a kenya tree growing on it as well it’s progressively gotten longer im just wondering how long should i wait til i do so

Looks like a good time to me! Be careful however, for when you cut a leather or mushroom it releases toxins into the water. Just make sure you have carbon going and try to do as much of the cutting outside the tank and do a rinse with tank water in a separate container before adding the Kenya back to the tank. At least that is what I've been told
