@Nem1clownfish2 I remember you from another string. Can you send a pic of your nem? Is this the same nem you were worried about because it wasn’t “sticky”? Is it healthy now?

Yes this is the exact same nem and I am proud to say but he is back to being healthy and he has found his spot at the very back of the tank which is a bummer becuse I don't get to see him very well. but I will send a pick and video. Sorry in advance if the video and picture is not very good like I said he is in the back of the tank.

Color-wise it doesn’t seem to be doing terribly well, and mine typically grow quite large before they split.

I would guess that if it splits now, it wouldn’t survive

Just let it be...I doubt it will even live in that tank. Could be wrong but odds are against you.

I agree with those saying to let it get a bit bigger before trying to get it to split. I'm glad it recovered for you from the previous thread. Its recovery shows that you're doing good with caring for it. :) I suggest enjoy it for a while and then once it grows it will probably split on its own, and if not, you can take steps to help it split.

+1 to leave it be for now. Let it get totally settled in, and it will split eventually. Mine did just the other day after a month, but I am still trying to figure out if it was a stress thing or not.

As for feeding, I feed mine Vitalis anenome pellets twice a week, plus whatever it snags out of the water column. I just use tongs to drop the food directly onto the anenome.

Got it. I just got this anemone like almost a month ago. I have been TRYING to feed him mysis shrimp but my clownfish pair always steel it is there anything I can do about them steeling it?
Do you have some sort of plastic basket with holes (about the same size as a strawberry basket) that you can put over the 'new while your feeding it? Something that will let in flow, but have holes small enough that the clowns can't snatch the food? I have one that steals from my torch every so often.
