Okay, so im having a bit of an issue, as of now, I have an 80 gal tank that has been set up for 2 years, about last year, issues incured which caused the crash of my tank. It only has one clownfish, I have ALOT of hair algae and bubble algae, I think my skimmer stopped working months ago but Im afraid to take it apart in fear of breaking it. I wanted to scrub the algae off in another bucket, but I know that would just pop all the bubbles, is there anyway I can avoid this?? I also have a lot of aptasia, would this cause them to spew their spawns? Ive purchased a filefish who is residing in QT for at least a month before I put him in to help take care of that problem, any advice?
