I had a hair algae outbreak and it’s mostly gone except for around this one frag. How would y’all get this off?

I’ll check it out. Dipping a coral in peroxide seems very counterintuitive
It's a peroxide/tank water mix. The ratio will depend on the coral being dipped. Zoas can take a higher concentration. I have done this with my frags (duncans, trumpets, blastos) and they were fine afterward. They were a bit ticked off for a while but got over it. lol

Zoa's can easily withstand a peroxide dip and it kills the algae easily and quickly. I wouldn't suggest it for any other corals, but I've done peroxode dip and it works well with zoa frags

Place in a small container of tank water and take tweezers and pull off carefully and return to tank

Unless that jungle comes off in a chunk, peroxide is way to go. You may be tweezing for an hour if it comes off hair by hair, and unless you get every last one, it’s coming back.

With the peroxide, normal household concentration with tank water. Maybe 10-20% peroxide. Make sure Zoas close before you use it, which should not be an issue once you take them out. I will often dip the plug from above, so it barely gets over the surface of the plug. This way you are not completely submerging. Maybe squirt with a baster after you dip, and then dip in a cup of tank water. Algae will die off in 24 hours, zoas will open in as few as a couple hours.

I Dipped a JF sour twist acro with 50% tank water and 50% peroxide buy mistake for 5min and it turned purple but is still living! Color is coming back, so yea it fairly safe :)
