I want to quiet down my Maxi dosers. I have my Maxi dosers in a cabinet next to my tank, however it does little to quiet them.

A few ideas I have are to install a softer tube between the doser and the RO tubing. Maybe a piece of foam under it. Unfortunately, sound proofing the cabinet isn’t much of an option. Also I can’t move the pumps to someplace else so that’s a limitation as well. The wheels are well lubed.

How loud are we talking about? I have one under my tank in the dining room and all I hear when it runs inside the cabinet is the clicking when it runs but that not that loud.

I would think:
Slowing it down which was already suggested above is a great option.
Foam on the cabinet door itself so it absorbs the sound? I know you said not on the cabinet. But it could be amplifying the noise within the cabinet as the sound bounces around.
For a test put something in front of the doser say a price of foam does it dampen the noise at all?
