How to stop tang aggression/killing

So I need some fresh ideas.. I have a squaretail bristletooth tang in my 75 gal tank.

it wasn't the last fish added.. a clown and a flamehawk was added after the tang with zero issues. The tang has been pretty peaceful to other tankmates until yesterday.

Then I added a carpenter's wrasse.. and the tang went ballistic after the wrasse. Today (Day 2), I do not see the wrasse anywhere. I am hoping it's hiding really well, otherwise I am sure the tang killed it off. the wrasse was approx same size as tang.

I've tried:
Putting mirrors up
pictures of other tangs
colored glass vases to distrupt the territory (as I can't change the rock- its all glued together)
I can't divide the tank either due to rock placement
Tang is much too fast to be captured.

I am planning ahead if I want to try again with another carpenter's wrasse.. any ideas how I can curb the aggression? I find it weird that the tang left the clown alone who is the smallest one in the tank, and went after a wrasse that was about same size as him.

thank you, I did see that (helpful) article, but there wasn't anything I haven't tried yet in there. I was hoping someone with experience can give me some more ideas!

If that doesn't work, unfortunately you probably have a removal situation on your hands.

bleh. either that or try not to add more fish. I am happy with what I have now, it'd be nice to have or or two more.
