I run a herbie over flow. If I turn off my retun pump for a couple minutes and restart it it runs completely silent. Then maybe 20- 30 mins go by and this starts happening and its kinda loud. The drain pipe in the overflow is completely under water. So im not sure were the air bubbles are coming from or how to stop them. You guys have any ideas? Thanks for any information.

I would suggest have the pipe flow into an add on filter sock. Will break up bubbles and filter out small micron particles

It’s pulling air from somewhere. Is it creating a vortex type thing up top? If not it might have a crack somewhere. A full siphon should be all water
Agree, air has to be coming in from somewhere. Under a full siphon there should be no air in the system and no air bubbles.
