I been at the garden centre & watched people loading rolls & rolls of dirty, muddy turf lawn into the back of their nice new squeaky clean hatchbacks.

Hire a trailer for crying out load.

It's funny I should run across this thread. I took my wifes car to fill up with gas tonight, and upon leaving there was a station wagon with a refrigerator strapped to the roof.
