How's your weather?

Here's mine below. A couple of inches already and coming down hard. The problem is that we often lose power when it's like this.

Nope. Every time we lose power, husband and I have a conversation like, "should we get a generator?" But we have a fireplace and a lot of wood. And we're on city water so the toilets will work by candlelight.

Hopefully get some more snow tonight here in Tahoe. It’s not so bad up there, but more is better. Had a storm a few days ago. Got a foot up at heavenly, but the winds shut some stuff down for much of the day. Today was good. Bit of flat light to be expected with that incoming storm. A few patches of blue sky.

I guess if you are into the ice fishing, you can take it. 18 years living in Chicago and I don’t miss those winters. Brutal. Can’t beat a game at Wrigley during the summer though.

It's not to bad here in Kansas right now. We went to Arizona over Christmas to get into some warmer weather. It was colder there then at home. But the snow did add to the beauty of the Grand Canyon.

Dropped almost 30 degrees in the last two days. Supposed to get even colder tonight.

Weather geek here to say winter is right around the corner.
If you believe looking at anolog years to foretell what the weather will do now, which I do, this year is really much like 1966. When a mild winter up til mid January, than WHAM.
This is the gfs model for snow in the next 16 days
