Huge Snail ID

Bought a used setup and this snail came with it. He is the size of a small apple. Just want to know what it is and if it is reef safe? Thumb for scale

Wow I have the same one. At first it was knocking over some coral until I had to glue them down.

reef safe - won't eat corals or anything. WILL eat tons of algae but knock over your frags that aren't glued down at the same time =)

Yeah they can get really big! I’ve seen some empty shells for hermits and was surprised at how big they can grow
