Omg can I show you mine?? It looks like an anemone because the head looks so fat and open!!!Hello all,
Im just posting on this bc I’m curious about other members experiences. I got myself a single head of WWC neon tip torch back during one of their summer live sales. It’s a nice piece. The thing is, I’ve never seen a single head get so enormous before, and their is no sign that it is even beginning to split. If it continues at this clip it’s going to become problematic (a good kind of problem, all things considered) soon because I can’t frag it. Has anyone had a torch grow this way here? Also, in my experience, torches don’t generally grow flesh too far down their skeletons, but this one has grown flesh the whole way down and is now, for lack of a better term, encrusting the rock! What’s that about?![]()
For size reference that’s a full grown female perc.

This is also for size reference. The smaller torch next to it has two heads that are becoming four, and the gold torch below has 3 and nearly 4 heads. Pretty cool how diverse coral is even within what we currently typically identify as a single species.
