The Humpnose Unicorn Tang (Naso tuberosus) is not commonly seen and is a stunning species that will grow very large. Adults can grow to be 2 feet in size and will need substantial swimming space. In the wild, they do live in schools but can become aggressive toward other tangs and food competitors in an aquarium. It is recommended to have the Humpnose Unicorn Tang be the only Tang in the aquarium and choose tank mates that can hold their own. This species will need algae incorporated into their diet to help boost their immune system. We recommend having Nutramar Nori available daily for juveniles to help keep them healthy.
