I’ve noticed recently that my micromussa lords constantly have their tentacles out. As far as I know the corals themselves are healthy looking. Does this constant feeding response mean I should feed them more? Or is there more likely another underlying cause?

I’m still very new to acans and corals in general, so any feedback would be appreciated.

They will do that often... I see my acans extend their feeders throughout the day and sometimes at night.
I feed regularly with phyto, coral feast, marine snow, and reef energy ab+ (broadcast feeding). The acans tend to extend most right after feeding and will remain extended throughout the day. I don't usually see them much at night, but then again, I only see them for an hr during lights out.
I've noticed that they appreciate occasional mysis too.
Yours look quite healthy and happy.
Hope this helps.

Every once in a while I’ll try to give a chunk of shrimp to my acans and ricordea mushroom. But my cleaner shrimp is a bit of a prick, and sometimes steals it from them. The last time this happened to my mushroom he wouldn’t take the shrimp I tried giving to it afterwards.
