So far they are great, but my Hydra 52 HD's are 1 month old so realy haven't noticed how well the coral like it.(SPS). these are my settings with 190 PAR at the bottom of a 20" tank.

I am using a 26hd and like the controllability of it. I don't like the only way to control it is through the app. I can be standing right next to it and it says "not connected".

However the light itself is very nice.

Why don't you use your computer? Heck, I have never even used the phone app.... only my computer.

As far as growth & colors.

I broke my main tank down, moving, that had the 52, and swapped it out for my 26 on the frag tank.

Colors are great. Way too early to tell growth.

(Although I sold 99% of the SPS)

Love the spectrum and controllability vs the Kessil's I was running.

I will be running a combination of 26 & 52 on the new build soon though.

Because I use my phone for everything. Heck I'm on it now. I have a computer just for stuff I can't do on the phone which isn't much.

Ok, because the way you worded it: "I don't like the only way to control it is through the app.", makes it sound like it can only be controlled through the app. I didn't want the OP, who is a potential buyer, to think it can only be controlled through an app.

Point made. I never have even tried with the computer honestly, as like I said I use my phone. Maybe I should go try it!

I run hydra 52 HDS I love them. Being able to ramp them up and down as well as simulate the lunar cycle is as close to nature as you can get!

And I've also found the computer is much easier to control the % than on my phone.
