I wouldnt use it unless it says food grade. There is ms wages pickling lime thats food grade. :)

thoughts on this one? it is $42.00 AUD for 5kg locally.

compared to above which is $12.00 AUD for 20kg

yeh they guy said its usually used in brewing, i think its safe to say it will be very hard to find the purity of any calcium hydroxide on the market unless u can independently test.

I'd just pick food or USP/BP grades. :)
