Hydro ATO - burn out protection?

Hi,

Does anyone know if the Hydros ATO has a built in feature to protect the pump of the ATO is dry ?

Built in no I don't think so but one helpful customization is if you go Into advanced settings for the ATO on the controller screen (assuming your using wave engine) you can have "max run time" be anything you'd like so maybe set it for however long it would take the pump to empty say half the reservoir if you have the sump space and thats it 30 secs max and save it from running dry

Very good livestream I just watched it but if you want to fast forward watch it from about 28mins and he shows the customization. @MarineDepot im super interested in purchasing the hydros thanks to manny and Carlos from coralvue

I believe that you can add a second water level sensor to the ATO reservoir to be programmed to turn off power to ATO if water drops below the sensor.
