Yeeeep...
It does feel very fragile..
Well... If I break it, I can use my refractometer
Hahahha
This is why I purchased the same hydrometer, my refractometer was lying to me from day one and when I purchased the Hannah tester I thought I got a defective unit. It turned out my salinity was very low after checking it with the tropic Marin hydrometer and then found out that my Hannah tester is basically spot on. Well worth the purchase of both measuring tools and I certainly don't use that refractometer anymore. That got tossed into the bin lol

I use the tropic Marin hydrometer to make a stock solution of 35 ppt saltwater and whatever that reads on my digital refractometer (36 ppt) is what I aim for with my tanks. If you do this make sure you shake the stock solution well each time you use it and also have it in a well sealed container.
