Do you use two temperature sensors in your system? Where and why?

I’m contemplating adding a second for redundancy but not sure where I should put it!? I have one in my return chamber right now with the heaters being upstream in the first chamber of the sump. 🐟

I have one in the upper tank in the overflow and one in the sump. Hydros will throw a notification if they drift too far apart. I use both so that one doesn't kill my tank if it fails.

Nice, wasn’t aware that’s Hydros would do that - that was one of my concerns.
